Some families require a longer period of child care than just our 9:00 am to 3:00 pm school day. Children who are enrolled at Keller Montessori School can be enrolled in our Extended Day program. Parents can drop their child off as early as 7:00am and pick them up later in the day at 6:30pm. Children come in and leave during these times as it is convenient for parents.
Our Extended Day program is only open to Keller Montessori School students. We do not have transportation that picks children up from public or charter schools to be brought to our program.
During our morning extended care time the children are just waking up. They prefer to move slowly and participate in more quiet activities. They might arrive at school and do some reading, color a picture, or play in a small group of friends.
After school, the children are awake and active! They enjoy some extra recess, snack, large group games, music, arts and crafts, and playing Legos or trains with others.
With our year-around school schedule and extended days, many children are able to reap the benefits of a quality Montessori education while parents pursue their careers!
